You recorded the emotions and intensity of the whole event very vividly, and your choice of B&W presentation created a very “real” and natural impression of the event. I felt as if I was in the middle of the whole thing.

The moment you start recording nothing can be adjusted. This has been my experience at least. There could be a setting that I haven’t unlocked or something. I think the quality of the footage is good when the camera is still or there isn’t much fast movement. I have used the the E-P2 and E-PL1 but for brief moments. I know the pens are capable of high quality video from footage that I’ve seen shot with them. Thanks for the info. I forgot I had sort of asked you about the video footage from the E5 before… That is a real disappointment that full manual control is not an option. Almost a deal breaker. I’ve seen some sample footage in 720p and it looks good, but I notice quite a bit of distortion due to shaking, which looks very awkward. It looks a lot different from shakes seen in footage from an HD camcorder for instance. I believe the newer Canon models have full manual control in regards to video…however I would rather not switch formats. Have you used any of the newer Oly Pen models? I know they shoot video as well.
